Men's Wrestling Finishes 3-0 in Patriots Duals
The University of the Cumberland (UC) men's wrestling team had a busy Saturday as they defeated (RV) Southeastern University, eighth-ranked Life University, and NCAA Division II Newberry College for the annual Patriot Duals. With the wins the Patriots improved to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in Mid-South Conference.

Patriot Wrestling Goes 3-1 in Campbellsville Duals
After opening the season with two open meets, the University of the Cumberlands men's wrestling team took part in their first dual meet of the season when they competed at the Campbellsville Duals Saturday. UC went 3-1 in four duals defeating 18th-ranked Campbellsville, Brewton-Parker, who is receiving votes in the NAIA poll, and Bellarmine University, but falling to second-ranked Indiana Tech.

Men's Wrestling Have 14 Place at Dan Gable Open
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Wrestling team was back in action on Saturday, November 12 as they competed in the Dan Gable Open in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This would be a big event for the Patriots as it would be the opening meet for several of UC's top wrestlers coming into the season. Several Patriots would have top finishes including some first places finishes in one of the season's largest tournaments.

Patriot Wrestling Starts Season Hosting Patriot Open
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Wrestling team began their 2016-2017 season this weekend as they hosted the Patriot Open Saturday at the O. Rollins Center. The Patriots posted four top-five finishes, including three first-places finishes on the day.

In a ceremony on Saturday, April 30, 2016, over 500 Fort Lewis College graduates and their families packed Whalen Gymnasium for Spring Commencement. The speaker chosen to offer the Commencement Address was Colorado's Lieutenant Governor, Joseph Garcia.

The Fort Lewis College School of Arts and Sciences held its annual Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities Symposium on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Student participants were selected by their departments to represent the best undergraduate research and performances done at Fort Lewis College this year, either in oral or poster presentations.

Students earn scholarships at Fort Lewis College
Several area residents received merit scholarships to attend Fort Lewis College for the Fall 2013 semester. These merit scholarships are renewable for up to 120 credits if criteria are met. Fort Lewis College also offers several other scholarships, including grants, the Finish in Four! Scholarship, FLC Foundation scholarships, alumni scholarships, departmental scholarships, Native American scholarships, and outside scholarships.
